Congregations and religious associations
There are 3 parishes in Kihniö. Kihniö Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kihniö Pentecostal Church ja Kihniö Free Church.
Kihniö Evangelical Lutheran Church
In addition to Sunday services, the congregation offers the opportunity to participate in other activities: church choir, mission circles, senior citizens' club, diaconal circle, Bible circle, day club, family club, youth evenings, confirmation school and Sunday school. The Evangelical Lutheran congregation of Kihniö became independent in 1918 as the Kihniö parish and the church was completed in the summer of 1917.
Kihniö Church (Kuruntie 14, 39820 Kihniö) is a wooden long church in Kihniö, built in 1915-1917. The church's drawings were prepared by architect Ilmari Launis.

Kihniö Pentecostal Church
The parish organizes weekly church services on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and prayer evenings on alternate weeks in Salem and in homes on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
The parish organizes a Mix club for thieves on Wednesdays, a senior night for the elderly, and a Nicecafe for women once a month.
Kihniö parishes collaborate to organize joint prayer evenings six times a year, Kids' action days a couple of times a year, and joint youth evenings at Base 55 once a month.
The summer camp and the Gospel Truck event are inseparable parts of the parish's activities during the summer.
The Kihniö Pentecostal Church has been an independent congregation since 1958.
The congregation publishes information about its activities in the Ylä-Satakunta newspaper and on Facebook.

Kihniö Free Congregation
Activities: church service every Sunday, weekly prayer circles, youth evenings and summer camp.
The congregation has strong musical activities: Congregational choir, youth choir, thieves' choir, men's singing group.
The Midsummer Festival is held every other year.
Kihniö Free Church is a separate parish founded in the village of Niskos in 1927. The prayer room was completed as a volunteer effort in 1952. It has its own cemetery next to the cemetery of the Kihniö Evangelical Lutheran parish.
