The snow and ski trails have melted for the 2025-2026 ski season.
We hope for good skiing conditions again for the winter of 2026-2027. Cross-country skiing trails in Kihniö can be found on the cross-country trail between Pyhäniemi and Käskyvuori (22,5km one way), in the field area next to the school, and depending on the winter, on the ice of the lakes.
Maintenance requests regarding the safety of the trails (e.g. obstacles on the trail, fallen trees, etc.) should be addressed directly to the contractor:

The cross-country ski trail is harnessed as a dog track, meaning you can ski there with your dog (except on Wednesday evenings, when the trail is reserved for series skiing). The dog must be on a leash.
