TE services will become municipal services on January 1.1.2025, XNUMX
Employment and economic development services were transferred to the municipalities and the state employment and economic development offices, or TE offices, were abolished. Employment services became part of the basic services of each municipality, in the same way as services related to education or community development, for example.
Employment services provide both individual and corporate customers with advice and guidance on job search, employee recruitment, and skills development.
We organize employment services together with the city of Parkano and form the Western Pirkanmaa employment area, with Sastamala as the responsible municipality.
What does this change mean?
If you are already a TE services customer, you do not need to do anything special, even if your service provider changes at the end of the year. We will inform you about any changes on this website and will also contact you personally if necessary.
When applying for jobs or employees, you must always log in. To the job market, which serves as a meeting place for jobs and workers. On the Job Market, you can find information, services and job openings related to working life. When you log in to the Job Market, you can create, for example, a job search profile or a job advertisement. On the Job Market, you can also find comprehensive instructions for doing business.
If you need employment services for the first time, you can always turn to your municipality and we will help and guide you. You can get more information and guidance on job searching or recruiting employees from your municipality's service point or, for example, from the Labour Market Market.

The City of Parkano also provides local employment services for the municipality of Kihniö, and the service is available by appointment at the Kihniö Municipal Hall, Kihniöntie 48.
At the Parkano-Kihniö service point receive advice, guidance and help filling out forms without an appointment, Parkanontie 66, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Employer and corporate services work closely with Kehitys-Parkki Oy and, if necessary, the customer is referred to their services.
