- 24 Soil and environmental permit application for rock excavation and crushing on the property Männikkö / Maanrakennus Kalevi Viitaharju Oy
The Technical Committee of the Municipality of Kihniö has, by its decision of 17 March 2026, § 24, resolved the following matter under the Soil Materials Act and the Environmental Protection Act:
Maanrakennus K. Viitaharju Oy's permit for quarrying and crushing rock material in the Riitakiimanmäki rock area, on property Männikkö RN:o 250-407-1-79, in accordance with the Soil Materials Act and the Environmental Protection Act. The applicant has been granted a permit for quarrying and crushing rock.
The decision will be kept on display. 15.4.-18.5.2026 On the Kihniö municipality website (www.kihnio.fi > bulletin board)
A joint permit case pursuant to the Soil Materials Act and the Environmental Protection Act may be appealed to the Vaasa Administrative Court within 30 days of receiving notification of the decision. More detailed instructions on the appeal are in the appeal notice attached to the decision. The appeal period ends 18.5.2026.
