At its meeting on March 30, 2026, §48, the Kihniö Municipal Board decided to make the material from the proposal phase of the Lylyharju wind power sub-general plan available for viewing.
The Lylyharju Kihniö wind power sub-plan is located on the border of Kihniö and Parkano, approximately 9 km northwest of the centre of Kihniö. The sub-plan area plans to build a maximum of six wind turbines, with a total height of up to 290 metres.
The goal of the zoning is to enable the construction of wind turbines in the area by preparing a legally effective master plan in accordance with Section 77a of the Land Use Act, which can be used directly as the basis for granting a construction permit for wind turbines.
