Fault situation communication

We will notify you of planned outages via text message, either in advance or quickly following a sudden disruption, so that you can prepare for it. Providing information increases safety and trust.

If you have a publicly available phone number, you do not need to register it in the customer portal. If you have a work or private number, you must register your phone number to receive text messages.

The owner of a rental or vacation home, summer cottage or similar can also register their phone number at that address if their permanent home address is elsewhere. You can subscribe to newsletters from more than one address. We automatically send a text message to residents over the age of 16 whose phone number and address are public.

Privacy Policy
We do not use the numbers stored in the system for anything other than reporting problems. The numbers are not sold or given away and they remain stored on a password-protected server that only people using the SMS system can access. Note: a municipal operator will never ask for payment information or send invoices to its customers by SMS. If this happens, it may be phishing over the phone, or so-called “smishing”.
