Physical education counselor Emilia Piilola presents the physical education counseling service chain and process description, as well as statistics on the effectiveness of the service.

The Education Committee notes that the service chain and process description of physical education counseling have been brought to its attention and forwards it to the government for information.

The Education Board approved Tilausliikenne Rauno Koivukoski Ky, Kivineva-yhtiöt Oy and taxi Tiina Jokioja as school transport operators at its meeting on 23.06.2021. Some students travel on the regular route operated by Lamminmäki via Mustaniementie and Kankari.
The contract period is 01.08.2021 - 31.07.2024 + option years 01.08.2024 - 31.07.2026.
Kivineva Companies Ltd's transport operations have been transferred to Tilausliikenne Koivukoski Ltd.
School transportation lists, routes, and cost estimates have been completed and will be presented to the board at the meeting.
The Education Board approves the school transportation arrangements and school transportation costs for students at Kihniö Comprehensive School for the 2023-2024 academic year and authorizes Welfare Director Vilja Lankinen
- make minor changes to transportation arrangements if necessary.
- sign the agreements with transport operators for transportation in the 2023-2024 academic year
- to approve the transport operators' invoices for transport for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Municipalities must plan priorities and measures to implement the municipal strategy. A working group was established to identify special themes for educational activities. At its meeting on 24.8 August (§58), the Education Committee appointed the members of the working group.
The working group met on Thursday, August 31.8st and was attended by the principal, kindergarten director, kindergarten teacher, library director, and welfare director, as well as Leila Törmä, Marketta Malin, and Mikko Nevanperä from the Education Board. The office holders heard suggestions for special themes and measures from the staff of their own department. The leisure instructor and sports counselor commented on the plan before the working group meeting.
The themes, priorities and measures were decided so that they can be taken into account in planning the 2024 budget.
The selected specific themes and measures will be presented at the meeting.

Pihlajalinna Occupational Health Care, together with the Municipality of Kihniö, has organized an occupational health survey for the municipality's employees. The survey was carried out in spring 2023 and a total of 36 municipal employees responded to it.
The results will be presented at the meeting.
