Two minutes reviewers will be elected. In accordance with the agreed practice, the reviewers will be Mikael Koivukoski and Jari Koskinen. The minutes will be reviewed on October 23, 2023 and will be available for viewing on October 24, 2023 on the municipal information network.

Kihniö, along with other municipalities, participates in a school health survey every two years, the results of which are available to municipalities both nationally and individually. The results of the school health survey conducted in the spring of 2023 are available. In the school health survey, 4th-5th graders and 8th-9th graders responded to the questionnaire.
The results will be presented as supporting material at the meeting.
The Education Board will mark the results as brought to its attention.

When the Kihniö library director retires on December 31, 2023, the position of library director will be put up for application so that the new library director can start in the position on January 1, 2024. The library director will work full-time together with a part-time library clerk.
The qualification requirement is a master's degree appropriate to the position. Salary is determined according to the Finnish Employment Standards Act.
The Education Committee decides:
-Declares the position of library director vacant, with Wednesday, November 8, 2023 (3:00 PM) as the last day to apply.
-Publish job advertisements on the municipality's website and notice board.
-Approve the application notice in Appendix 1
-Choose an interview group

The Education Board's revenue realization percentage is 80,5 and the expenditure realization percentage is 62,9. The operating margin percentage according to net budgeting is 59,2.

- The final report on the use of government funding on 02.10.2023 for the project Outreach Youth Work in the Municipality of Kihniö on 23.03.2022 (LSSAVI/18859/2021) has been approved.
- The project to develop the quality, evaluation and management of early childhood education in the municipality of Kihniö for 2022-2023 (OKM/729/520/2022) has been extended until June 20, 2024.
- The Education Committee will agree on the next meeting date.
The Education Committee will note the notification matters as brought to its attention and discuss the mentioned topics. The next meeting will be arranged for November 16, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting place will be the meeting room of the municipal hall.
