The motion for a resolution was adopted unanimously.
A protocol inspector is elected. In accordance with the agreed practice, the inspection shift is Metta Hirviniemi. The protocol will be inspected on February 2, 2024 and will be available for viewing on February 2, 2024 on the municipal information network.
Metta Hirviniemi was elected as the reviewer of the minutes.

The organizational meeting is convened and the agenda is prepared by the youth council supervisor appointed by the municipal government. The youth council elects a chairperson, vice-chairperson and secretary from among its members for the council term at the organizational meeting. The youth council supervisor acts as the chairperson of the organizational meeting until a new chairperson of the youth council is elected.

According to the Youth Council's rules of procedure, the Youth Council's representatives are elected to the boards at the organizational meeting, with the exception of the election boards and the inspection board. The Youth Council elects its representative to the municipal council. The representative participates in the meetings and presents the views of the Youth Council and other young people in the municipality, and ensures that the Youth Council receives information about the issues discussed by the council, the board and the working groups. The Youth Council elects its representative to the provincial Youth Council.

The youth council annually draws up goals and objectives for its activities. The goals for the activities are recorded in an action plan. The action plan is notified to the municipal government.
The Youth Council will define goals for 2024 and prepare an action plan, which will also be published as an appendix to the minutes.

The board hearings were reviewed. The opening hours and activities of the future youth center are being discussed. Nuva's 5th anniversary party, a movie night, a board game night, and a flea market organized by Nuva were planned. At the opening of the youth center, a survey will be held about the wishes of young people regarding the youth center and the youth council.
