The Central Election Board confirms the results of the municipal elections.
The Central Election Board shall elect 17 councillors in accordance with Section 91 of the Election Act in the order of the comparative number and their deputy councillors in accordance with Section 17 of the Local Government Act. The Central Election Board shall conduct the necessary draws. A list of tied situations and the results of the draws are attached.
The reports taken from the results calculation system in accordance with the election instructions are attached to the minutes.

The Central Election Commission verified the election day results on 14 April 2025. There were no differences with the Election Commission's calculation. The Central Election Commission confirmed the election results after conducting the necessary draws in accordance with Appendix 1 (list of tied situations) and the conducted draws in Appendix 2, the full delegates and deputy delegates in Appendix 3.
Draws were conducted using the electoral information system's automated draw to determine the order of candidates with the same number of votes by group:
- Center candidates Koivisto Markus and Silvennoinen Erja with the same number of votes, 32. The order in the draw did not change. Within the group, Koivisto ranks 5th and Silvennoinen 6th, on the all (elected) list, they rank 11th and 13th.
- Finns Party candidates Koivisto Juha and Nevanperä Mikko with the same number of votes, 12. Group places 7 and 8, on the list of all candidates places 18 and 24. The order in the draw changed so that Nevanperä was placed 7 and Koivisto 8. A corresponding change on the list of all candidates.
- Finns Party candidates Jokioja Tiina and Vierre Ulla with the same number of votes, 6th. Within the group, Jokioja is in 11th place and Vierre is in 12th place. On the overall list, they are in 29th and 30th place. The order did not change in the draw.
It was confirmed that a total of 960 votes were cast in the municipal elections, of which 956 were accepted. Four ballots were rejected.

The Central Election Board of each municipality shall, at its meeting starting at 18 p.m. on the 3rd day after election day, confirm the number of votes that each candidate, as well as the party, electoral alliance and joint list, have received in the regional elections in the municipality, and shall immediately notify the regional election board of the number of votes thus confirmed and the total number of votes cast in the elections and the number of invalid votes in the manner prescribed by the Ministry of Justice.

The Central Election Board confirms the vote counts for regional elections in accordance with Section 143 l of the Election Act.

The Central Election Board confirmed the number of votes each candidate received in the municipality, the number of invalid votes in the municipality, and the total number of votes in the municipality (total accepted votes + invalid votes) and entered the figures into the counting system.

In regional and municipal elections, every person elected as a delegate and deputy delegate is required to submit an election finance declaration.
In the 2025 regional and municipal elections, those required to file an election finance declaration must submit their election finance declaration no later than Monday 16 June 2025, i.e. within two months of the election results being confirmed. The declaration is primarily submitted electronically through the Finnish Audit Office's online service.
An election financing declaration must be filed even if there have been no campaign expenses or election financing to declare.
Candidates who are required to report at the same time in both regional and municipal elections must submit a single election finance declaration, which reports the expenses and funding of both their regional and municipal election campaigns.
You can submit an election finance declaration in the online service until 16 June 2025 at midnight. If you submit the declaration in writing, it must be received by the National Audit Office by 15:00 on 16 June 2025. Election finance declarations received after this time will be marked as late.
The Central Election Board reminds the delegates and deputy delegates of the notification deadline.

The Central Election Commission issues an appeal decision
The right to appeal lies with the person whose interest or right is violated by the decision, as well as with each person who was a candidate in the election and the party and joint list that submitted a candidacy application, on the grounds that the decision is unlawful. In addition, the following may appeal the decision on the grounds that the elections were conducted in an incorrect order and that it may have affected the outcome of the elections:
1) every person entitled to vote in the municipality concerned; and
2) municipal member.
An appeal against the decision of the municipal central election board must be filed with the Hämeenlinna Administrative Court, address Raatihuoneenkatu 1, PO Box 640, 13111 Hämeenlinna, within 14 days of the election results being published.
