§ 24 Legality and quorum of the meeting
Proposal for a decision

The legality and quorum of the meeting are established. The participants in the meeting are noted.

Decision

The motion for a resolution was adopted unanimously.

§ 25 Selection of the minutes inspectors
Proposal for a decision

Two minutes reviewers will be elected. The minutes will be reviewed on April 14, 2025 and will be available for viewing on April 15, 2025 on the municipal information network.

Decision

The motion for a resolution was adopted unanimously.

Timo Aho and Minna Yli-Kujala were elected as the minutes inspectors.

§ 26 Verification of ballots for regional elections on election day
Proposal for a decision

A verification count of votes cast on election day will be carried out in accordance with Section 87 of the Election Act.

Decision

A verification count of votes cast on election day was carried out in accordance with Section 87 of the Election Act. It was found that 194 men and 168 women had voted in the regional elections on election day, a total of 362, making the turnout on election day 25%.

Two blank ballots were rejected.

6 ballots were rejected due to improper marking.

5 ballots were rejected because the candidate number was marked in a way that did not clearly indicate which candidate it refers to.

The Central Election Commission accepted one ballot (2660) rejected by the Election Commission after closer examination. Total number of rejected ballots 13.

During the check count, one ballot (2620) was found to have been recorded for the wrong candidate (2660). This will be corrected in the results record. The number of accepted votes increased by one and the number of rejected votes decreased by one. The total number of votes did not change.

The total number of ballots and the distribution among the candidates were consistent with the election minutes of the Electoral Board, with the exception of the above-mentioned entries.

A total of 904 votes were cast in the regional elections, of which 27 were rejected (14 in the advance vote). The number of accepted votes was therefore 877. The number of eligible voters was 1444, so the turnout was 62,6%.

§ 27 Verification and counting of ballots for municipal elections on election day
Proposal for a decision

A verification count of votes cast on election day will be carried out in accordance with Section 87 of the Election Act.

Decision

A check and count of votes cast on election day was carried out in accordance with Section 87 of the Election Act. It was found that 206 men and 178 women had voted in the municipal elections on election day, a total of 384, making the turnout on election day 26,6%.

All ballots were accepted.

The total number of ballots and the distribution among the candidates were consistent with the election protocol of the Electoral Board.

A total of 960 votes were cast in the municipal elections, of which four (4) were rejected (4 in the advance vote). The number of accepted votes was therefore 956. The number of eligible voters was 1444, so the turnout was 66,5%.
