§ 20 Legality and quorum of the meeting

According to Section 14 of the Election Act, "The Municipal Central Election Board has a quorum of five members".

Proposal for a decision

The legality and quorum of the meeting are established. The participants in the meeting are noted.

Decision

The motion for a resolution was adopted unanimously.

The meeting was declared legal and quorate. The participants were noted.

§ 21 Selection of the minutes inspectors
Proposal for a decision

Two minutes reviewers will be elected. The minutes will be reviewed on April 14, 2025 and will be available for viewing on the municipality's website on April 15, 2025.

Decision

The motion for a resolution was adopted unanimously.

Timo Talasoja and Marja-Leena Aho were elected as the minutes reviewers.

§ 22 Counting of advance votes for municipal elections

The counting of advance votes for the municipal elections will be carried out in accordance with sections 85–86 of the Election Act.

Proposal for a decision

The Central Election Board counts the advance votes by opening the ballot envelopes separated from the mailing lists and approved at the previous meeting and grouping the ballots so that the votes cast for different candidates are in their own groups.

Decision

The motion for a resolution was adopted unanimously.

The Central Election Board carried out the counting of advance votes by opening the election envelopes separated from the mailing lists and approved at the previous meeting and grouping the ballots so that the votes cast for different candidates are in their own groups.

The Central Election Commission unanimously rejected 4 ballots based on the following factors:

- The candidate number is marked in such a way that it is not clear which candidate it refers to.

There were a total of 572 acceptable votes, the distribution of which by group is as follows:

Finnish Social Democratic Party 26 votes

Finnish Christian Democrats 68 votes

Center of Finland 209 votes

National Coalition Party 32 votes

Left Alliance 18 votes

Finns Party 167 votes

Joint list Savupirtti 28 votes

Tiainen Hannu 24 votes

The distribution of votes among different parties and candidates in the advance voting is shown in Appendix No. 1 and 2. Appendix 3-4 recording reports. Attached are 4 rejected ballot papers.

§ 23 Counting of advance votes for regional elections

The counting of advance votes for regional elections will be carried out in accordance with sections 85–86 of the Election Act.

The Central Election Commission unanimously rejected 14 ballots based on the following factors:

- The candidate number is marked in such a way that it is not clear which candidate it refers to (9).

-3 inappropriate markings on the ballot paper

There were a total of 528 acceptable votes.
