The Vitality Division discussed the matter in the fall of 2025 and proposes the following to the municipal government:
• Advertising material is being prepared for the industrial plots for sale by the municipality, which could include the marketing slogan "A plot for a ton." The size of the plot for sale at this price would be approximately 4000 m2.
• The Pyhäniemi motorhome parking area will be expanded next summer by enlarging the current site. The trees will be pruned, the maintenance building will be renovated and the surroundings will be cleaned up.
It is being investigated whether it is possible to place tent sites in the area.
• The municipality's land areas will be mapped, especially waterfront plots, zoned if necessary and put up for sale.
• The zoning of Sulkuejärvi will be continued as a waterfront development plan (4-6 building sites)
The objectives/measures described above will be added as a proposal to the operational objectives of the municipal government, where applicable.
The technical director will present the matter in terms of zoning.
The Vitality Division will discuss the priorities of the activities and the possibilities for their implementation.
The motion for a resolution was approved.
The zoning of the Sulkuejärvi waterfront plan and the land area on the shore of Lake Kankari will continue.
The caravan park will be expanded in a few places and the maintenance building will be renovated.
There was also a discussion about the possibilities of energy-using industry in the Kihniö-Parkano area. Kehitys-Park is asked to investigate the matter.

Discussions have been held with the Entrepreneurs' Association about organizing a summer market in the summer of 2026. The previous summer market was organized in the area of the comprehensive school in the summer of 2024 and was well received. Summer events like this have a positive impact in many ways.
Organizing the summer markets has largely been the responsibility of the Entrepreneurs' Association. The association's resources are currently limited and they have hoped that responsibility for organizing them could be shared among several parties.
The first Saturday of July is a suitable time and the area of the comprehensive school has been found to be a viable place to organize the market. The school has been reserved for the event at that time. At the same time, a "whole village elk soup" will be organized, which is organized by the Kihniö Game Management Association together with hunting clubs.
Various associations and entities are expected to organize the event.
The Vitality Division will discuss the matter and make a decision.
The motion for a resolution was approved.

Let's have a discussion about it and take note.
The motion for a resolution was approved.
Project status. There was a discussion about pending projects.
Electric car charging point: Charging points will be acquired in the library and health center areas during the current year.
Gas station situation. Fuel distribution ceased at the Kihniö Teboil station at the end of 2025 due to Regarding the sanctions imposed by the United States on Lukoil and the financial supervision sanctions on Teboil's payment transactions. Discussions have been held with various operators about continuing fuel deliveries. The problem is the ownership of the fuel tanks and instrumentation, which is owned by Teboil. More suppliers would be interested in providing the service if there was a place to operate. Hopefully, international trade will be successful in this matter and we can move forward.
