Organization
The organization of the municipality of Kihniö consists of corporate administration, educational services and technical services. The Pirkanmaa Welfare Region is responsible for social and health services.
Decision-making power in the municipality is exercised by the municipal council, elected by the residents for a four-year term, and by the municipal government, committees and executive boards elected by it. Decisions are prepared and implemented by municipal officials to whom these institutions have delegated decision-making power.
