You can influence the management of municipal affairs and decision-makers not only by voting in elections, but also by taking initiatives, sending questions and suggestions to elected officials and officials, and participating in information and discussion events concerning the municipality.

The right of initiative is based on Section 23 of the Municipalities Act. Residents and other members of the municipality have the right to make initiatives to the municipality in matters concerning its operations. In addition, the service user has the right to make initiatives in matters concerning the municipal service in question.
