The municipality of Kihniö has opened two new caravan parks for caravanners. One is located at Kihniö market square (at Prunnintie 6, 39820 Kihniö) and the other is located next to Pyhäniemi holiday village on the shore of Lake Kankarinjärvi (at Pyhäniementie 251, 39820 Kihniö).
Pyhäniemi camping site is located on a sandy pine forest with a magnificent view of Lake Kankarinjärvi. The buildings of the former parish camp center have a kitchen (water point, washing up and cooking facilities), a toilet (composting toilet) and a wood-fired sauna (stove and kettle) available for self-service. Pyhäniemi beach is located next to the camping site. Holiday Pyhäniemi services are located next to the area. Pyhäniemi has four sites, two of which are equipped with an electricity pole.
Kihniö Market Square car park is located in the centre of Kihniö, with services within walking distance of the park. There are two spaces available at the market square, both of which are equipped with an electricity pole.
