The Council for the Elderly and Disabled, in collaboration with Liikenneturva, is once again organizing the popular fitness course for elderly drivers.

The course will be held in Puumila on Tuesday, March 10th at 12:30 and Tuesday, March 31st at 12:30.

The course is intended for people who are 65 years of age or older and who drive. The course is 2 x 3 hours long, i.e. 3 hours on two different days. The course does not involve driving, but rather discusses issues related to driving in old age in a lecture-like manner. The topics include, among others, a review of accidents that have occurred in older people, “new” and old traffic signs, “new” and old traffic rules, and driving health issues.

The course is free of charge and coffee will be served during it.

A maximum of 30 people can be admitted to the course in the order of registration.

Registrations are accepted by Kirsi Jytilä, Chair of the Council for the Elderly and Disabled, by phone +358 44 9671 005 or by email kirsi.jytila@outlook.com
